CONCACAF has announced that the official draw for the 2025 Gold Cup will take place on Thursday, April 10 at 7:00 pm ET. With that, U.S. soccer fans will be eagerly watching to see who the U.S. Men’s National Team will face to kick off their redemption tour.
Set to run from June 14 to July 6, the 2025 Gold Cup will feature 16 men’s national teams—15 from CONCACAF and guest nation Saudi Arabia. Matches will be played across 14 stadiums in 11 cities in the U.S. and Canada, with the final hosted for the first time in Texas at Houston’s NRG Stadium.
Mexico, the current champions, along with the top three ranked Concacaf teams, will be pre-seeded in the draw. Teams will be placed into four pots based on Concacaf rankings (post-Gold Cup Prelims), with the draw assigning them to Groups A through D.
Eight teams have already secured their spot via the Concacaf Nations League, including Canada, El Salvador, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, the United States, Curaçao, and the Dominican Republic. The remaining seven will qualify through the Prelims, held March 21 and 25.
The tournament will begin with a group stage followed by knockout rounds: quarterfinals (June 28–29), semifinals (July 2), and the final (July 6). With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, and all of the fireworks from the Nations League, this year‘s edition of the gold cup will be particularly interesting.
