Co-owner Ryan Reynolds is coming back to his hometown, Vancouver, Canada, to play the number 2 team in the Western Conference. The Welsh club already saw the talent in Philadelphia while playing Philly Union II. Ryan Reynolds says, “Last year Rob got to bring Wrexham to Philly. This year it’s my turn”.
With a clear connection with the Wrexham ownership, fans can only hope this growing relationship can one day see a Vancouver or Philadelphia academy player possibly play for Wrexham AFC. If they were able to build a relationship, Wrexham would be a great team to do it with their aspirations of playing in the English Premier League.
